  28. The number one selling point of shareware these days (in case you
  29. haven't noticed) is that it takes advantage of the OS it runs on,
  30. in the NT/Win95 world this means multithreading.

  32. A newsreader should e.g. import news and email in the background,
  33. a web browser should not cease functioning just because you decide
  34. to download a file or print something, etc..etc...

  36. Delphi OTOH fills 100% of anything I might need to do, and it always
  37. does the job extremely well. Why on earth would I consider VB, and
  38. why should the original poster not dump VB? VB is indeed inferior in every
  39. possible evaluation category (no-one has so far said otherwise) and that
  40. is perhaps what the conclusion should be?
